Can I trial a product before buying, particularly mobility aids or equipment?
Yes. For customers in Victoria, we offer in-home trials and showroom trials for selected products, particularly mobility aids, lift chairs, and larger equipment. Collection:
Recliner Chairs
A good recliner makes it easier to sit, rest and stand up again, whether it's in a lounge room or a residential care suite. Our recliner chairs include Aspire lift recline chairs such as the Idaho, Monet, Oregon, Raphael, Renoir and Signature 2, Cobalt Health air chairs (Slimline, Classic and Bariatric) and Royale Medical models, for home users, aged care providers and hospitals.
Choosing the right recliner chair
- Dual action chairs move the backrest and footrest together, while Quattro and quad motor models let each part move independently for finer positioning.
- Check seat width, seat height and safe working load against the user; bariatric options such as the Cobalt Health Bariatric Air Chair are available.
- Air chairs offer adjustable air cushioning, which some users find more comfortable for long periods of sitting.
- Think about fabric: leather and vinyl wipe clean easily, which suits shared care settings.
How do I know which size fits?
Measure the user's hip width and the distance from the back of the knee to the floor, then compare with the chair dimensions or call us for help.
Is funding available?
Lift recliners may be claimable under some funding plans. Check your plan or ask your provider.
