Yes, Souvenaid® can be used by people with diabetes. It does contain carbohydrates, so as with any food or drink, it's worth monitoring your blood glucose levels in consultation with your diabetes care team.

Souvenaid® Liquid is made from gluten-free ingredients and contains less than 20mg/kg of gluten. If you have coeliac disease or a gluten sensitivity, have a chat with your doctor before starting, just to make sure it's right for your individual circumstances.

Unfortunately no. Both the Liquid and Powder versions of Souvenaid® contain milk proteins, fish oil (tuna), and soy. If you have a known allergy to any of these, Souvenaid® isn't suitable for you.

• For the Liquid: keep unopened bottles in a cool, dry place. Once opened, close the bottle, refrigerate it, and finish it within 24 hours. It tastes best cold, so keeping a few in the fridge ready to go makes sense.
• For the Powder: store the tin in a cool, dry place, and once opened, keep it airtight and use within two weeks.
