Collection:
Molnlycke Mepilex Border Ag
Molnlycke Mepilex Border Ag is a bordered silver foam dressing with a soft silicone adhesive, so it stays in place without extra tape. This collection also brings together related silver options: Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag, Mepilex Ag and Mepilex Transfer Ag, for use by hospital wards, wound care nurses, GP clinics and aged care teams.
Choosing the right silver foam dressing
- Mepilex Border Ag has a built-in adhesive border, so no secondary fixation is usually needed.
- Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag is shaped for the sacral area.
- Non-bordered Mepilex Ag and Transfer Ag suit areas where you'd prefer to fix the dressing separately.
- Silver dressings are generally chosen on the advice of a clinician.
How often are dressings changed?
Wear time depends on the wound and exudate levels; follow the manufacturer's instructions and your clinician's plan.
Can I order by the box?
Yes, Mepilex dressings are sold by the box, and facilities can order larger quantities for delivery Australia-wide.
