Collection:
Molnlycke Mepilex Ag Antimicrobial Foam
Molnlycke Mepilex Ag is a soft silicone foam dressing that contains silver, used by clinicians for wounds that need an antimicrobial dressing. This collection includes Mepilex Ag in sizes such as 15 x 15cm and 20 x 50cm, and Mepilex Transfer Ag in 10 x 12.5cm, 15 x 20cm and 20 x 50cm, for hospitals, wound clinics, community nurses and aged care.
Choosing the right Mepilex Ag dressing
- Mepilex Ag is an absorbent foam dressing; Mepilex Transfer Ag is thinner and moves fluid through to a secondary dressing.
- Choose a size that covers the wound with a margin of intact skin; large 20 x 50cm sheets suit bigger areas.
- Silver dressings are generally used on the recommendation of a nurse, doctor or wound care specialist.
- For a bordered version, see Mepilex Border Ag.
Can the dressing be cut?
Check the instructions on each listing, as guidance varies by product.
Do you supply wound clinics in bulk?
